Reed Accountancy in Oxford are excited to be partnering with a prestigious, well established client based in South Oxfordshire to help source an Accounts and Administration Assistant on 40 hours a week. The role offers a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave, free onsite parking, health insurance, pension and death in service, in a settled, rural environment. This role is perfect for someone with strong transactional accounting experience looking for a stable, steady finance role.
This is a full time, office based role and does not offer hybrid working. Due to the remote location of the client, you will need access to your own transport.
Responsibilities:
* Raising invoices
* Entering new projects
* Entering timesheets
* Employee adjustments – entering new staff and new charge out rates
* Mark up rates
* Stock control and ordering materials
* Billing details and adjustments
* Reporting VAT quarters
* Financial year shut down
* Project costing
* Raising credits
* Purchase returns
* Sales orders
* Deposit invoicing
* Health and safety administration
* Chasing outstanding debts
* Updating employee training records
* Booking training courses
* General administration responsibilities - such as maintenance contracts, insurance, waste management contracts
The role is perfect for someone with strong accounts and administration experience and looking for a settled, stable role. You will have bookkeeping experience and be capable on Excel & Sage, or experience on another accounting package. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable with liaising with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner. Finally, you will be comfortable working in a small, close knit and quiet team.
