About the Role
We areseeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Sixth Form for September 2025 for our 'Oustanding' and 'Dimaond' award sixth form which has been ranked 5th in the country out of all state and independent schools (in 2024). You will be an experienced A level teacher looking for a new challenge and can teach A level subject/s. It would be advantageous if you can teach Business, Maths or Economics. If you can teach other subjects please highlight this in your application.
You will be working closely with the Head of Sixth Form, the Assistant Vice Principal responsible for the Sixth Form and Sixth Form Coordinator. Responsibilities include promoting high expectations in all aspects of Sixth Form and academy life, organising the Sixth Form programmes and activities, assisting with admissions administration and supporting the promotion of the Sixth Form to internal and external students. This position would require the successful candidate to be available for A level and GCSE results days. You will have great behaviour management strategies and you will also have excellent organisation and communication skills to liaise with students, staff, parents and external organisations.

Our Academy
Our academy was previously Mount Carmel Catholic College for Girls and we are now a mixed, non-denominational academy.
