Outline of Role:
As Project Manager, responsibilities are to lead and develop project teams, maintain and grow customer relationships, ensure project delivery is excellent, uphold Health and Safety excellence in line with company procedures, and ensure that projects are profitable in line with budget while always looking for ways to exceed expectations.
Essential Requirements to be successful in the role:
You will need to be able to demonstrate:
1. Profitability – always aiming to deliver budget margins and looking at ways to increase. Ensuring CVR’s are accurate and produced on time.
2. Leadership – lead and develop project teams.
3. Health & Safety – ensure company policies and standards are maintained on sites.
4. Quality – always looking to deliver a “right first time” approach – aiming to achieve a defect-free handover.
5. Innovation – ensure we are market leaders by developing our processes, construction methodologies, and technical solutions.
Skills and experience required:
1. Develop client briefs into workable project profiles.
2. Forming scoping documents and specifications.
3. Assisting QS to produce cost plans.
4. Design management.
5. Contract administration.
6. Programming and phasing of projects.
7. Managing project meetings.
8. Commercial – ensure profit plans, CVR’s, and resourcing are all accurate.
9. Ensuring all projects are delivered to exacting standards, on time and within budget.
10. Good communication skills.
11. Time and workload management.
12. Develop and maintain customer relationships.
13. Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
1. Degree level or equivalent in construction-related studies.
