Overview of role:
We are seeking a proactive individual to co-ordinate and administer RLB's Ideas and Innovation Programme. You will work with our wider Innovation, Change Management and Service Transformation teams who will support you in the management of the programme.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management and administration of our internal digital platform.
2. Liaising with Innovation Champions to ensure they have sufficient information to promote Innovation across RLB.
3. Managing the requests for Campaigns, doing the initial set-up and taking an 'eyes on / hands off' approach.
4. Being the internal Platform expert, including liaison with Sideways 6 and RLB IT teams, when required.
5. Distributing BAU issues (gathered within the Platform) to Heads of Discipline / Operations.
6. Managing Incremental Ideas through the innovation lifecycle within our platform including: Closing down any unsuitable ideas early on, creating and managing reviews and sending any manual communications to idea submitters.
7. Working with Idea Implementers to help them through the process.
8. Reporting any trends and analytics, as necessary.
9. Promotion of an 'innovation culture' through regular webinars and lunch and learn sessions.
10. Working with Communications team to navigate achievements, best practices and recognition.
Person specification:
Experience:
* Entrepreneurial spirit - comfortable with 'new' ideas, initiatives and ways of working.
* Computer and Tech literate.
* Strong communication skills, communicating to stakeholders across the business.
* Strong Coordination skills.
* Ability to operate independently but work as part of a wider national team.
* Curious, creative and enthusiastic.
