Head of HR Ellesmere Port Competitive salary plus benefits and bonus Role Overview Stratton HR are currently supporting a client, EMS Healthcare with the recruitment of a Head of HR position. We are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Head of HR to join the Extended Leadership Team at EMS Healthcare. This pivotal role will lead the HR function, driving a progressive people agenda that supports the Company's strategic goals, enabling growth whilst maintaining and enhancing the culture. The successful candidate will oversee the entire employee lifecycle, working closely with the rest of the ELT to translate the requirements of contracts and projects into people solutions that will ensure the successful delivery and performance of said contracts. What you will take the lead on: People strategy : Shape and execute the People strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on people, culture, and organisational effectiveness. Talent and Retention : Develop a recruitment and retention strategy, with a focus on clinical resource across the UK. Build a sustainable talent pipeline and ensure continuity in expertise. Operational Excellence : Optimise the performance of HR systems (e.g., CIPHR), including payroll, benefits, and learning management systems, ensuring best-in-class utilisation. Management reporting and Data Analysis : Monthly reporting presenting HR data, strategic updates, and project insights that contribute to decision making. Culture Development : Maintain and enhance the current culture balancing employee advocacy with a strong commercial focus and the professionalisation of the business as it continues to grow and service larger, more established organisations People Management : Provide leadership to the HR team, empowering them to lead their on their responsibilities while maintaining regular engagement through one-to-ones and performance reviews. Compliance and Governance : Ensure HR practices meet regulatory standards, including compliance with ISO, IIP, and ESG targets.
