In summary, the post holder is responsible for developing and delivering QA and process automation services using modern frameworks and practices. Working in an agile environment the post holder will be expected to work within a cross functional team and proactively drive continuous improvement in software, techniques and processes.
Responsible for developing and delivering QA and process automation services. The post holder will, with the Head of Development, be responsible for strategic and innovative solutions with the ability to present and articulate technical executions clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders.
As Senior QA/Automation specialist the post holder will have significant authority and autonomy to ensure service delivery and quality standards are maintained within the specialist innovative technical development management unit. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the compilation of the business plan requiring development of innovative solutions that will support the Trust’s Digital Clinical Strategy.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. • Creating and executing automated test strategies – both UI driven
and coded as part of a CI pipeline
• Creating and executing manual test strategies
• Working in an Agile environment
• Engaging with project stakeholders
• Testing web-based applications and demonstrate examples of security testing
• Advanced complex data management/manipulation skills, including mainstream development IDE.
• Using advanced and highly-developed technical skills, within an operational IT, technical, or systems management function in a pro-active team-based environment.
