Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students aged 11-16, across a range of abilities. You will play a key role in helping students develop their mathematical understanding, fostering a love for the subject, and supporting them in achieving their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement
* Supporting students in preparation for GCSE exams
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
* Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the school’s wider community
Requirements:
* Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
* Proven experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3/KS4)
* Strong classroom management skills
* A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire students
* Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
