The 1:1 SEN Outreach Tutor will provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a one-on-one setting. Duties include:
1. Developing personalised learning plans
2. Delivering engaging lessons
3. Assessing student progress
4. Providing feedback to students and their families
5. Collaborating with school staff and external agencies to ensure the best possible support for each student
Minimum Requirements:
* A relevant teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A degree in Education or a related field
* Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role
* In-depth understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
* Proficiency in creating and implementing individual education plans
* Additional SEN training or certifications
* Experience using assistive technology in education
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work in a home or community setting, providing support to students with SEN. Some travel may be required to attend meetings or training sessions.
