Job Summary: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be an essential part of the school's support system, working closely with pupils who need extra assistance to succeed in their learning and development. Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant : Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN. Assist teachers in implementing learning plans tailored to individual student needs. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Support students with their social and emotional development. Work closely with other staff to ensure pupils are safe, happy, and progressing. Offer assistance with daily classroom activities and behaviour management. Requirements for a SEN Teaching Assistant : Previous experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ is desireable but not must. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with various needs. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
