We have an exciting new role to join our growing team.
We need a Chef de Partie to cook food for all food outlets and banquets. To ensure the expected high standards of health & safety, cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in the kitchen area as a whole.
About The Role
Main tasks and duties
1. To ensure smooth operational procedures within the kitchen;
2. To maintain and adhere to company’s health and safety policies;
3. To ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times;
4. To prepare food to the standards set by management;
5. To exercise portion control over all items served;
6. To cook all food at a consistently high quality;
7. To ensure that quality standards are consistently high;
8. To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance;
9. To ensure effective communication to management and peers;
10. To attend training courses as and when necessary;
11. To ensure that due care is taken for the health and safety of yourself, other employees and any other persons on the premises;
12. Report and where appropriate take action on any incident, accident, fire, loss or damage;
13. To order, check and accept deliveries of goods and equipment as necessary;
14. To report all maintenance issues and take appropriate action;
15. Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.
Skills Needed
* Experience working in The Hotel Industry
Required Criteria
* Right to Work in the United Kingdom
* Good Command of English Language
* Must have previous experience at a similar level gained within a high quality catering operation
* Must have NVQ level 2 or the equivalent in Food Preparation and Cooking
* Hold a recognised current Food Hygiene Certificate
* Need transportation due to location
