The Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) brokers interactions between policy professionals and experts from the sciences, social sciences, humanities, engineering and technology. CSaP does this through a range of activities including policy fellowships, professional development, policy workshops, and networking events. Since 1990, Cambridge Judge has forged a reputation as a centre of rigorous thinking and high-impact transformative education, situated within one of the world's most prestigious research universities, and in the heart of the Cambridge Cluster, the most successful technology entrepreneurship cluster in Europe. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced events professional to join CSaP and support the team in the delivery of high quality online and in-person events. You will be responsible for a delivering a portfolio of events including the CSaP annual conference, the annual lecture, and a series of policy workshops. You will also provide support to the Policy Leaders and Dowling Policy Fellowships in the delivery of their events. Your main responsibilities will include managing invitations and registrations, sourcing venues and coordinating logistics. You will be educated to at least A level standard or have an equivalent qualification. You will have highly developed customer care and organisational skills, a willingness to go that extra mile and a working knowledge of event management principles. Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism will be required in your interactions with CSaP's stakeholders. This role is available from January 2025 for a fixed-term period of 12 months (or the return of the post-holder, whichever is earlier) in order to provide maternity cover for the absent member of staff.
