ABC Teachers are currently seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant for a role in a well-established SEND provision in King s Norton, starting as soon as possible.
About the role:
* Primarily supporting on a 1:1 in class with students that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
* Adapt to the needs of students and provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Work closely with the class teacher to create innovative ways to support students in the school.
* This is a full-time role starting as soon as possible, which will be ongoing for the right candidate.

* The school caters to Secondary aged students with SEMH and additional needs like Autism.
* A dedicated and nurturing staff team who consistently encourage students to achieve their very best.
* Easily accessible by public transport and car from central and south Birmingham areas.
About you:
To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant position, you will:
* Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Possess effective communication skills, able to adapt to quickly changing situations and children’s individual needs.
* Have a nurturing and kind personality.
* Establish positive rapport with students and staff.
* Be passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives.
* Be able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
