Reports to: Business Director The role The role is focused within one team, with responsibilities across 4 of the agency’s important international client assignments. It o ffers the opportunity to work with high profile, iconic brands in and gain experience across categories and varying client challenges. Accountabilities include: Client Account Management: Help manage and build the client/agency relationship between Essencemediacom and key clients Strong attention to detail to make sure all work delivered is accurate Tenacity to ensure any work that is briefed out comes back within deadline Ability to multi-task and work across more than one project at a time For particular briefs be the project lead and key client contact Add value: Be curious, ask yourself the questions your client or manage r would ask about your deliverables before they do Be willing to react to change or suggest it where you see opportunities to improve Identify bigger picture media topics that are pertinent to/would add interest to challenges on your client s – make them aware of these via the most appropriate method: Newsletter / line manager / within market reports / a one of email, etc. Data Analysis / Reporting: Develop a strong understanding of our competitive sets, their spending patterns and assumed media strategy Assist in analysis of research to support strategic projects, and develop clear, accurate and aesthetically pleasing presentations to show key insights and data Liaise with the wider Essencemediacom network to source data and insights Abilit y to review and generate an understanding of what has happened : S ummarize key takeouts to team members and clients, or questions outliers Create and present post campaign analyses to clients B e able to identify opportunities, threats and recommendations Client Account Management: Coordinate status meetings and ensure effective management of status reports and next steps Help manage and build the client/agency relationship between Essencemediacom and key clients Strong attention to detail to make sure all work is accurate and timely Has a level of tenacity which ensures any work that is briefed out comes back within deadline Ability to multi-task and work across more than one project at a time Lead particular briefs and be the lead client contact for particular projects Operating & Technical Skills: Work closely with internal teams to manage briefs that come in form the client and establish SLA’s and timelines Apply a working knowledge of basic media concepts, terminology, media math and media plan execution (e.g., reach, frequency, universe, rating, CPM) Assist the senior team leaders in the day-to-day management of Global projects Support the wider team, helping provide support collateral for key meetings. Precisely and promptly address any finance queries Actively look to improve established processes to improve efficiencies across the account Market Co-ordination: Build strong relationships with the local Essencemediacom markets Be adept at managing timely delivery of input information from multiple contacts Collection of Communication Plans and up-to-date knowledge of market spend Consolidation and analysis of relevant information across all the markets – i.e. media landscape information, brand tracking, consolidating client-specific data and generating learnings. A bit about your skills and experience: Experience in a media agency Experience in a media planning role as Planner or Senior Planner Experience in managing client stakeholders Excellent communication skills Ideally experience of working in multi-market teams Strong quantitative & analytic al skills, able to utilize consumer insight data Understand the campaign process from brief to PCA Confident communicator who is willing to be involved with presenting in front of large groups of people from all levels Pro-active, inquisitive, with exceptional attention to detail and an ability to interrogate data Excellent computer skills : E specially Excel (inc.
