Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst on behalf of Mars.
In our ambition to gain share and create value, this position will play a critical role in providing financial leadership and decision support for the respective customer/channel group in line with our business strategies. This role involves creating insights on finance performance, ensuring achievement of NSV targets, and managing trade fund investments within budget. The position requires co-creating business plans, reviewing assumptions, identifying opportunities & risks, and ensuring sustainable value creation while maintaining control over financial data, reporting, systems, and controls. This role ensures that customers and internal clients adhere to the policies and terms of sale established by various business units and that trade fund investments are utilized effectively through the reduction of non-working spends.
Responsibilities:
1. Finance business partner for respective customer group/channel, supporting the definition of customer strategy and achieving targets set within operational plan/3-year value creation plan.
2. Member of the Customer/Channel Management Team, accountable with the Customer/Channel Business Director for the delivery, ownership, and execution of the Operating Plan. Support in the preparation of annual trade negotiations and customer business plans.
3. Develop strategic partnerships with the Customer Business Director by spending time in the market to understand the competitive landscape, uncover opportunities for growth, further understand the customer, and strengthen the relationship with the Customer team.
4. Finance business partner for consumer promotions and NQC Market P&L costs, owning the finance element of these areas and providing financial support to ensure control and target achievement.
5. Partner with SRM and the local organization to support and roll out ROI models and best practices to evaluate the effectiveness of consumer promotional activities and trade investments to drive value creation, driving portfolio and customer mix as per business strategy.
6. Partner with Sales and Supply Chain teams to review and challenge assumptions behind respective customer group/channel forecasts, identifying key opportunities and risks to target delivery with recommended remedies.
