We are seeking a dedicated Finance and Administrative Support Officer (Bookkeeper) with AAT Level 4 to provide essential Finance support to the business. This role involves managing financial records, reconciling bank accounts, and dealing with some transactional accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Day-to-day of the role: Record and reconcile monthly income Maintain accurate spreadsheets Manage bank accounts, review unreconciled bank transactions, and ensure all financial records are up-to-date. Prepare and post accruals and prepayments journals for central purchases Complete bank and statement reconciliations Printing off financial reports from the finance system to senior managers for budget review. Complete monthly intercompany reconciliations a Dealing with the fixed asset register and journals. Manage the authorisation process of payment runs. Reconcile card statements and ensure financial compliance is adhered to. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in finance and administrative roles, preferably within an educational or trust setting. Strong understanding of financial regulations and grant management. Proficiency in financial software and Excel for maintaining and analysing data. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Effective communication skills, capable of providing clear financial advice and reports.
