Working week Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 37.5 hours per week total Wages £7 per hour National apprenticeship wage rises to £7.40 after 12 months Qualification Business Administration level 3 Duration 18 months Training Provider: LMP Education Duties and Responsibilities Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls, taking messages when necessary. Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they sign in and out and providing them with any necessary information or assistance. Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for pickup or courier. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors. Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible. Perform data entry tasks, including updating and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other records. Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software. Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available.
