We have an exciting opportunity for a Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Onley, a category C Prison located in Rugby.
Hours
Working 16 hours per week, working two days per week Tuesday and Thursdays (negotiable) 09:00-17:00
Salary
This position is part time, youll receive an annual salary up to £64,471 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary.
1. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with independent prescribing, you'll deliver face-to-face services, enabling patients to obtain health information from the appropriate health care professional. You will be providing safe and effective health assessments and treatment of patients within the establishment.
2. You'll be accountable for your practice including the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention.
3. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team in providing quality, evidence-based health care to meet the immediate needs of the patient, you'll take an active role within the cross-disciplinary, multi-skilled team to ensure service quality in line with corporate goals and strategy; to assist in the implementation of the wellbeing approach which has a positive impact on the health economy.

Qualifications required
11. Registered professional with current registration (NMC)
12. Recognised prescribing qualification
13. Evidence of Continued Professional Development
14. Masters in Advanced Practice or equivalent
15. Ability to work within a busy environment
16. Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
