We are recruiting Customer Service Advisors/Helpdesk Advisors for a fast-growing telecommunications company based close to the Altrincham area. The role will involve working as part of a close-knit team, educating and troubleshooting any technical queries received from customers. This is not a high-volume script-based role and would suit someone who is keen to deal with in-depth investigative issues needing a high level of ownership and attention to detail.
The salary is £24,000pa with a realistic OTE of £26,400pa, achieved by working towards customer service KPIs. Commission can also be earned when processing sales orders.
The working hours are 4 x 10hr shifts across 7 days Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am - 6pm, and overtime can be available, paying double time.
Hybrid working is available 1 day per week and over the weekend!
What will you be doing as Customer Service Advisor / Helpdesk Advisor?
1. Handling any incoming customer queries via telephone, email & live chat
2. Troubleshooting reported problems, managing the issue, and providing regular feedback to the customer with updates on the issue
3. Collaborating with internal teams to identify issues and put a strategy in place to reach desired solutions for customers
4. Developing an in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services
5. Managing a busy workload and assessing priorities
6. Accurately recording all information and dialogue with the customer on the internal system
7. Any other ad-hoc duties as required
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
1. Previous experience working as a Customer Service Advisor / Helpdesk Advisor would be ideal
2. The role involves dealing with in-depth investigative issues needing a high level of ownership and attention to detail
3. Proactive and solutions-focused approach to work
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver the message with confidence and empathy
5. Must be able to listen well and pinpoint the issue needing to be resolved
6. Enjoy working as part of a team, and have the drive to work from your own initiative
