They are currently seeking a Support Assistant to join them for a six month fixed term contract on a full-time basis working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role
As a Support Assistant, you will deliver exceptional customer care to our client’s project service users and provide effective administrative support to the team.
You will support service users by escorting them to appointments and forums, helping resolve benefit queries, taking them shopping and assisting them to review their account.
Helping the day-to-day running of the office, you will manage telephone queries, distribute mail, oversee office maintenance, order supplies and support financial admin.
Additionally, you will:
- Help conduct H&S and property checks
- Assist with producing and distributing project statistics
- Liaise with the HR department
About You
To be considered as a Support Assistant, you will need:
- Customer service experience
- Experience of developing administration systems
- Experience working for a non-profit organisation
- An understanding of the risk associated with Lone working
- A good understanding of confidentiality, data protection and professional boundaries
- The ability to write clear reports and letters
- The ability to understand financial information
- Strong IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience of working with homeless women would be beneficial, as would experience of delivering a PIE / Trauma informed support service.
