Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:
o Hire, train, and supervise staff.
o Set staff schedules, ensuring the store is adequately staffed during peak hours.
o Motivate and lead the team, promoting good customer service and a positive work environment.
2. Inventory Management:
o Oversee stock levels, placing orders for products as needed.
o Ensure proper stock rotation (first-in, first-out method).
o Check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
3. Customer Service:
o Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
o Maintain a welcoming and friendly store atmosphere.
o Promote products and upsell items when possible.
4. Compliance:
o Ensure the store complies with Turkish laws regarding the sale of alcohol and tobacco (age restrictions, licensing requirements, etc.).
o Ensure all relevant health and safety standards are maintained.
5. Financial Management:
o Manage the store’s budget, keeping track of sales, expenses, and profits.
o Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
o Monitor sales and implement strategies to increase revenue.
6. Marketing and Promotions:
