We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Worker to join our team at a secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Preston. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging sports and physical education sessions tailored to students with SEMH needs. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages participation and skill development. Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate sports activities into students' individualized learning plans. Provide mentoring and pastoral support to students, helping to improve their confidence, teamwork, and emotional resilience. Promote healthy lifestyles and the importance of physical activity in overall well-being. Manage and maintain sports equipment and ensure a safe environment for all students. Requirements: Previous experience in sports coaching, ideally within an educational or SEMH setting. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students facing emotional and behavioural challenges. Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 2 in coaching or equivalent). Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures. A commitment to inclusivity, promoting positive behavior, and helping students reach their full potential.
