Please note that this is a rolling advert with no closing date. We are always seeking applications for Catering Staff and will be interviewing on regular intervals. Please do submit your application as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint Catering Staff on a casual basis to provide support across all our schools within Brooke Weston Trust in Corby, Kettering and Wisbech.
Our Catering Team provides fresh hot and cold food to students and staff across our schools. You will assist with all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen and canteen hygiene in a busy and demanding environment. You may already have experience working in a school catering environment; however, full training will be provided, which will include all Food Safety and Allergen training. We are an Allergen Aware Trust. It is essential that all candidates share our vision to provide an enjoyable and safe environment during lunch times and dismiss the age-old notion that school dinners are bad! Travel between sites may also be required at short notice. Tasks will include maintaining and cleaning the restaurant during lunch service and other kitchen duties as required.
About Brooke Weston Trust
Our Trust was formed more than 25 years ago with a simple and clear mission - to transform educational performance in all of our communities. Working in some of the most challenging contexts, we improve our students’ achievements by making long-term commitments to the community and championing new approaches to improve the life chances for young people.
Our members of staff are essential to realizing this vision, and a happy, motivated, and supported team will deliver the best possible experiences for our young people.
We place great emphasis on creating a supportive and collaborative working environment in all our schools, where all staff can share best practices through our colleague networks. Brooke Weston staff get access to first-class professional development through our Ambition Hub, which is also home to the Northamptonshire Teaching School.
