About the role Qualified ICT Teacher January 2025 - July 2025 GCSE and KS3 responsibility £31650 - £43606 per annum Vision for Education is recruiting on behalf of a Blackburn Secondary School for a Teacher of ICT. The successful candidate will be required from January 2025 through to the end of the academic year in July 2025.This is a full time role teaching ICT to pupils at KS3 & KS4 level. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective lessons in KS3 and GCSE ICT, inspiring students to develop confidence and competence in computing. Plan, assess, and deliver the curriculum with a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. Utilise creative and varied teaching approaches to support a range of learning styles, ensuring lessons are inclusive and challenging for all. Collaborate with the ICT department and broader school community to contribute to a positive, cohesive learning environment. Person Specification We are seeking a passionate and motivated Maths teacher who: Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Has recent experience teaching KS3 and GCSE ICT, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality lessons. Is committed to inspiring and engaging students, helping them achieve their full potential. Thrives in a collaborative environment and can build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. Is adaptable, resilient, and ready to engage with the dynamic demands of a vibrant school setting.
