The role of the Production Coordinator is to be responsible for executing movements and demand replenishment plans in EMEA region utilizing the New Era Cap system such that inventory and logistical related costs are minimized while a superior customer service level is maintained. This position reports to the Production Manager.
Work closely with the Department managers, Sourcing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Sales. These efforts should ensure proper inventory levels are maintained for all stocked finished goods, correct lead times to meet customer requirements. Additionally, work closely with the Production Manager to execute operational goals.
Responsibilities - Production
* Work closely with Sourcing; make sure production tech packs have been clearly reviewed with the Sourcing team before purchase order is issued.
* Ensure order purchase data (delivery dates, pricing, ship mode) is reviewed and maintained to provide timely and accurate information to entire organisation.
* Review purchase requisitions on a weekly basis to ensure all product needs are executed.
* Accurately identifies purchase demand, sources of supply, and converts demand to purchase orders.
* Communicate with Global partners requirements to ensure on time bulk production of Seasonal booking programmes, Stock and SMU buys
* Management of quarterly season booking programmes ensuring key milestones are met, both with internal and external partners
* Review delivery extension requests with Head of Operations to determine best course of action for product not meeting the desired time and action calendar.
* Work closely with Quality to resolve any product quality issues occurring during production.
* Ensure production time and action calendars are followed and critical milestones are met.
* Produce internal reports highlighting work in progress status
* Communicate work in progress status for Business Units to Key Stakeholders via weekly meetings.

* Understand the order entry process of distinct product categories, and the impact on global production.

* Able to think through the details and contingencies of options and plans and make sound business decisions.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (ability to develop modelling tools and manage spreadsheets)
* Knowledge of Centric software (PLM)
Education
* A Level or equivalent
* Experience within Supply Chain related field is strongly preferred.
Please note that this role is fixed term for 12 months, and is 4 days working in our Milton Keynes office, and 1 day working from home.
