Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant - Supplier Management
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a Supplier Management Framework to govern supplier interactions, performance, and compliance.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and mutual growth.
* Conduct regular supplier reviews, performance assessments, and strategic alignment meetings.
* Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure value for money and service excellence.
* Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation.
* Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams to draft, review, and approve supplier contracts.
* Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
* Develop and maintain a centralized contract repository for efficient access and management.
* Implement a Supplier Performance Management (SPM) system to monitor supplier KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics.
* Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews, providing feedback and action plans for improvement.
* Drive cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and innovation in collaboration with suppliers.
* Manage supplier scorecards, dashboards, and regular reporting to executive management.
* Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks.
* Ensure suppliers comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies (e.g., GDPR, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, OSHA).
* Conduct supplier audits, due diligence, and risk assessments to maintain a robust supply chain.
* Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to address supplier-related disputes, non-compliance, and corrective actions.
* Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for critical goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
* Partner with Procurement teams to identify new sourcing opportunities, consolidate suppliers, and optimize spend.
* Lead category management initiatives for key spend areas, leveraging market insights and best practices.
* Engage in benchmarking and market analysis to identify emerging trends and supplier innovations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Operations, Finance, IT, and Legal, to understand business needs and align supplier strategies.
* Provide regular updates to senior leadership on supplier performance, risk, and improvement initiatives.
* Facilitate cross-functional workshops to drive supplier innovation and continuous improvement.
* Manage supplier-related communications during escalations, disruptions, and crisis management scenarios.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
* Proven track record in contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and strategic sourcing.
* Experience managing suppliers in global, multi-vendor environments across various industries.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and compliance standards.
* Experience in managing high-value contracts and complex supplier relationships.
* Strong understanding of procurement processes, e-sourcing tools, and spend analytics.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
* Strategic thinking & problem-solving capabilities.
* Ability to work in cross-functional teams and multicultural environments.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Certifications: ITIL v4 Expert / SIAM Foundation or Professional / PMP / COBIT / ISO 20000 / TOGAF (Preferred).
