An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established St Albans law firm, committed to providing exceptional legal services to clients.
Their team of dedicated professionals works collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of service in a friendly, supportive and almost paperless environment.
We are looking for a fully qualified candidate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing.
This busy position will require the post holder to manage at least 70 files at a time and work from initial instruction to work to exchange and completion. The role will be supported by a Property Paralegal. You will be case management driven and have good client facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Able to handle a caseload of property transactions independently and efficiently
2. Manage a high workload (around 70 open matters and around 25 exchange and completions per month)
3. Provide expert advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
5. Building and maintaining strong client relationships
6. Proactively managing timelines and achieving deadlines
7. Drafting official contracts on behalf of clients
8. Ensuring post completion is carried out accurately as well as handling client billing
9. Working closely with agents and other solicitors
10. Supporting and developing junior team members
What the employer is looking for:
1. Strong background in conveyancing with demonstrable experience of managing your own caseload
2. Be a licensed Conveyancer/Solicitor
3. Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience
4. Good knowledge of residential conveyancing on both leasehold and freehold
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to keep clients regularly updated, providing excellent service throughout
6. Be detail oriented and committed to delivering exceptional client care
7. Have a proactive approach and the ability to work well under pressure
