The Role Are you passionate about IT and eager to support a dynamic team? As an IT Technician, you will assist and support the IT Manager with desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and carrying out assigned projects. You will ensure minimal disruption to business functions by maintaining core applications and supporting remote working capabilities. This role involves responding to staff and director queries, creating user guides, and assisting with the planning and development of IT infrastructure. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for you. Key Responsibilities: Assist with desktop support and troubleshoot hardware/software problems. Respond to queries from staff and directors regarding equipment functionality. Ensure minimal disruption to business functions and maintain core applications. Support remote working capabilities and create user guides. Assist with the planning and development of IT infrastructure. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring tasks. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:. Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (e.g., VMware Esxi, VMWare Horizon). Experience troubleshooting common hardware/software issues. Active Directory administration and group policy experience. Support experience with Windows Server 2012R2 and above, and Windows 10 in a domain environment. Office 365 management for users and email. Beneficial: programming/scripting experience, Microsoft SQL Server support, mobile OS support (iPhone, Android, iPad). Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
