The Role (Reporting to the Regional Director) Clinical Advocacy: Champion the development of excellent clinical practices across our care homes, providing expert clinical advice and encouraging innovation in service delivery. Person-Centred Support: Ensure our care homes deliver the highest standards of person-centred planning and personalized support to residents. Performance Improvement: Support Home Managers in under-performing services, developing effective action plans to meet quality and compliance targets. Team Development: Assist Home Managers in recruiting, retaining, and developing team members in key clinical and departmental roles. Compliance Guidance: Advise Home Managers on adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance. Skill Enhancement: Support Deputy Managers and Clinical Leads in enhancing their clinical and person-centred care skills through training and mentorship. Proactive Support: Review audits and provide proactive support, advice, and training as needed to address any issues. Service Improvement: Help Home Managers develop and achieve their Service Improvement Plans, driving continuous quality enhancement. Hands-On Management: Step in as a Home Manager when required, demonstrating a hands-on approach to leadership and problem-solving. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience: Home Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Home Manager, showcasing your ability to lead and manage care services effectively. Nursing Qualification: Essential to be a qualified Nurse (RGN/RMN), bringing your clinical expertise to the role. Quality Care Track Record: Proven track record of delivering high-quality care, demonstrated through positive CQC inspections.
