Shift Patterns: Early, Lates, Nights, Long Days, Weekends & Bank Holidays
NHS Professionals is partnering with Birmingham Community Healthcare to provide high quality community and specialist services within Birmingham and the West Midlands. They deliver over 100 clinical services in people's homes and in over 200 hospitals, health centres, and clinics. Providing services for adults, children, people with learning disabilities, those with rehabilitation needs, and also dental services.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be working within one of their specialist inpatient wards within Adult & Specialist Rehab services. You will be responsible for the assessment of individual patient care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.
Moseley Hall Hospital is a community hospital offering general medical and sub-acute care and specialist stroke and brain injury rehabilitation services for inpatients and outpatients. It has three medical wards (Wards 4, 5, and 6) and is based in the south of the city. The three wards make up 68 beds and are for adults aged 18 and above who would benefit from a short period of rehabilitation following illness or injury. Ward 9 INRU is a specialist neurological rehabilitation unit, which provides specialist assessment and intensive rehabilitation for people with disabilities resulting from neurological conditions.
West Heath Hospital has two medical wards (Wards 11 and 14) and is also based in the south of the city. These wards make up 57 beds for adults aged 18 and above who would benefit from a short period of rehabilitation following illness or injury.

What you'll be responsible for:
* Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
* Checking symptoms and vital signs and arranging diagnostic tests
* Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
* Planning, delivering and evaluating standards of evidence-based nursing care
You'll need to have the following qualifications/experience:
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an acute nursing environment within a hospital in the last 3 years
* Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and keeping up to date with current nursing practices
* Ensuring accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines
* Undertaking regular mandatory training
* Providing a copy of your Academic Qualification as part of our onboarding check
Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
