Position: Network Engineer (DV Cleared)
Location: Farnborough (4-5x a week onsite)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + 10% Annual Performance Bonus
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in our Secure TAC (Technical Assistance Centre) environment. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, where you will play a critical role in troubleshooting, fault finding, and conducting in-depth investigations to support and enhance network security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement: Lead the delivery of services, foster strong relationships with customer operational teams, and coordinate incident management and resolution.
2. Problem Resolution: Act as a focal point for resolving complex customer problems, leveraging Cisco technologies across Security, Unified Collaboration, and Data Centre solutions.
3. Incident Management: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical incidents related to Cisco products, services, and solutions.
4. Testing and Compatibility: Build or utilise test environments to resolve complex problems and compatibility issues.
5. Knowledge Sharing: Develop and deliver knowledge transfer materials and problem resolution documentation for customers and team members.
6. Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate records in incident and knowledge management systems and ensure adherence to case management guidelines.
7. Communication: Provide clear and effective communication with customers and our stakeholders regarding the status and progress of service requests.
Must-Have Requirements:
1. CCNA/CCNP Level Networking Certification or equivalent experience.
2. Active DV Clearance (Developed Vetting clearance is mandatory).
3. Network Operations / Network Support Experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
1. Experience with Cisco AnyConnect.
2. Experience with Cisco Hyperflex.
