Quality Engineer Location: Andover, UK Hours: Monday - Thursday (08:30 – 17:00), Friday (08:30 – 15:30) Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? About the Role: As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across manufacturing processes. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with key accreditations such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949. Key Responsibilities: Lead product quality initiatives, including containment, investigation, corrective actions, and validation Support the development and maintenance of Quality Management Systems Conduct process audits, quality spot-checks, and internal inspections to maintain high standards Assist with continuous improvement projects across the business Support the introduction of customer-led quality initiatives Ensure calibration of key equipment and adherence to industry standards Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve quality concerns What We’re Looking For: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing or engineering environment Experience working with ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 Strong problem-solving skills, using tools like 8D, CAPA, and 5-Whys Internal auditing experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable Skills (Nice to Have): HNC qualification (Level 4) in Electronics Engineering or a related field IPC-A-600 or IPC-A-610 certification Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt) Experience with inspection and first article checks This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company where you can make a real impact and drive continuous improvement in quality processes
