OBM People is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team.
As an Inventory Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing incoming goods, verifying inventory accuracy, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effective management of incoming goods and inventory control, ensuring seamless integration with delivery drivers and warehouse operations.
* Verification of incoming goods against purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
* Accurate record-keeping and maintenance of the inventory list, utilizing D365 ERP system for efficient tracking and reporting.
* Prioritization of tasks to meet deadlines, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain high-quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated expertise in inventory management practices, including knowledge of lean principles and just-in-time (JIT) methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with ERP systems like D365.
* Ambitious and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
* Maintaining accurate records, meeting strict deadlines, and delivering high-quality results.
* Familiarity with workshop/stores Health & Safety practices and willingness to operate pallet stackers, gantry cranes, and 5T forklifts (desired).
