Candidate profile We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic, motivated, & forward thinking Mental Health Practitioner to join our friendly and highly skilled teams. Registered with the relevant professional (HCPC, NMC, SWE, BABCP) A higher-level qualification in a relevant subject such as therapeutic support, Social work, nursing or psychotherapy. Experience of working with vulnerable young people in a therapeutic or counselling setting. Be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills Have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills Ability to plan and implement therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches. Understand the importance of reflective practice. An understanding of social, emotional and mental health difficulties. An understanding of the complex and multiple needs of vulnerable young people in both the school and home environment. The ability to work under pressure and remain calm in stressful and difficult situations. Ability to assess and mitigate risk of young people. Ability to work autonomously and make decisions and to work as part of a team. Ability to establish and maintain clear boundaries in respect of personal and professional responsibility. Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and able to maintain records throughout all services.
