Are you competent operating a forklift? Do you have warehousing or storeman experience? Do you have good communication, literacy, and numerical skills?
The role is Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday morning during seasonal peaks, 40 hours per week with overtime as required. Overtime rates and allowances are included. Initially, this will be a three-month temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
This is a hands-on role to assist distribution and to effectively ensure a smooth flow of inwards goods, picking, packing, and dispatching orders. This role will involve loading and unloading trucks and containers with the forklift, shifting stock around the yard, inventory control, some computer work, and physical labor.
Experience in warehousing, logistics, and forklift operation is essential as the environment can be high-paced during seasonal peaks. You must also be able to work extra hours to meet customer demands as required. You will maintain a high level of Health & Safety and be accurate and methodical in your work.
To be considered for this position you will have:
* Current OSH Forklift and F Endorsement
* Competent with forklift operation
* Working knowledge of NZ Health and Safety
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* An excellent work ethic and reliability
