As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with Barchester care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care and support across a 20-mile radius to help our residents get the most out of life. It's a very varied role that will see you provide cover as and when we need it, including monitoring the delivery of care, contributing to person-centred care planning, and recording observations.

It's vital for us that every resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with our carers every shift.
ABOUT YOUA background in care is important, along with a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care is useful, as is a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry. Ideally, you'll have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths. Dedicated and compassionate, your passion for people means you'll go above and beyond to support the wellbeing of residents. Flexibility is important, and you'll either need your own car or ready access to one for travel across the area. We'll cover your mileage when you travel over five miles from your main home, and if you're on duty during an inspection that achieves a 'Good' rating, you'll qualify for a bonus.
