Job summary This is an exciting and innovative post which will support the successful candidate to become part of a rapidly developing Palliative care and Bereavement service working across BWCH as a Band 6 palliative care nurse.You will have a passion for paediatric palliative care (PPC) and be ambitious and highly motivated to support the advancement of a nurse led transformational service in enhancing a collaborative and dynamic approach in delivering and championing children's palliative, end of life and bereavement care across the Trust and the organisations.The band 6 post is an opportunity to raise your awareness of the wider PPC and bereavement care (BC) team and how it functions as well as assisting you to develop your managerial knowledge and leadership skills. There will be an opportunity to complete the Masters module in Paediatric palliative care to acquire foundation knowledgeand skills which will provide you with the necessary knowledge and competencies to ensure the safe and effective management of PPC and BC, its development and expansion and the service needs.
