Aspiring Psychologist - Mental Health Support - Slough
Position Overview: A rewarding position has become available for a Mental Health Support Worker to work in a school in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate a positive and safe environment for students struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, and various mood disorders.
2. Support and shadow the class teacher, providing 1:1 support for SEN students.
3. Run engaging lessons to ensure the classroom is a fun and exciting place.
4. Assist children in managing and coping with their emotions and mental health.
5. Implement behavioral management strategies as needed.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable but not essential.
2. Background in sports, art, or drama is advantageous.
3. Graduates in a relevant field will also be considered.

* Position: SEN Mental Health Assistant
* Location: Slough
* Start Date: ASAP
* Salary: £80 - £95 per day
* Schedule: Full-time, Mon – Fri
* Focus: SEMH, Autism, Mental Health, Complex needs
