At PGIM, You Can What you will do: As an Investment Analyst you will be part of a growing and exciting team that is an integrated part of a large and global fixed income business. You will collaborate closely with senior members of the team and will learn & develop exceptional financial modelling, analytical and investment analysis skills, negotiation & presentation skills and will have exposure to either the European High Yield bond and Leverage loan markets or Investment Grade markets. What you can expect: Assist with the evaluation of new investment opportunities by performing fundamental research analysis of companies, this includes: Qualitative analysis Financial Modelling Review of due diligence Supporting ongoing critical monitoring of existing portfolio positions Develop an understanding global and European economic trends and develop a perspective on interest rate movements, credit spreads, yield curve/duration risks and currency risks What you will bring: Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and completeness Strong critical thinking and logic skills Embraces and encourages change and development Maintains high level of productivity and self-direction Strong academic background. Minimum of 2:1 degree or equivalent Minimum of 128 UCAS points or equivalent (from top 3 A levels, excluding General Studies) Highly numerate Has a genuine interest in investments and financial markets; Strong analytical skills and enjoys thinking about and solving complex issues; Possesses strong quantitative skills, with the ability to easily use spreadsheets and models; Must be able to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality of work.
