As a Diagnostic Technician / Mechanic / Vehicle Technician for our client’s dealer in Guildford, you will be responsible for ensuring that all service, repair and maintenance work is completed to exemplary standards on a diverse range of models across this market leading brand.
Key Responsibilities for this Diagnostic Technician / Mechanic / Vehicle Technician will include:
• Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing, ensuring that every job meets the required standards
• Ensuring that all repair work is completed to the highest standard and within factory timescales
• Completing and providing accurate diagnostic reports on vehicles, supplying a clear understanding of what and why a repair is needed to the Workshop Manager/Team Leader
• Evaluating the condition of every vehicle worked on and, where necessary, reporting and documenting all additional work required on both systems and job cards
• Liaising with other departments to facilitate the timely and accurate servicing and repair of vehicles.
Qualifications for the successful Diagnostic Technician / Mechanic / Vehicle Technician need to include:
• At a minimum, you will need an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or City & Guilds Level 2.
• If you have the qualifications but have no work experience yet please do get in touch – we have opportunities available.
• A full UK driving license.
