What You’ll Be Doing
As a 2nd Line Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering IT solutions to a wide range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Project Implementation – Managing and executing projects of varying complexity, from one-day implementations to large-scale migrations and security hardening.
2. Technology Deployment – Implementing solutions such as Microsoft 365, Intune, Conditional Access, Autopilot, Mimecast, Azure, and Hosted Telephony.
3. Client Success – Ensuring smooth project delivery to help clients achieve their IT roadmaps and business objectives, whether it’s for growth, operational changes, or office relocations.
Who We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in a commercial IT support environment, ideally within an MSP.
* Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.
* Excellent communication skills—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
* A collaborative mindset—enjoys working as part of a team and leveraging expertise from others.
* Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Tech Stack & Systems You’ll Work With
1. Microsoft 365 & Email Services – Exchange, Exchange Online, Mimecast, Gmail.
2. Device Management – Intune, Conditional Access, Autopilot, JAMF.
3. Cloud & Security – Microsoft Azure, SharePoint Online, Teams, firewalls, Windows security.
4. Servers & Networking – Windows Server (GPO, AD, File Servers), DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN.
5. Hosted Telephony – VoIP and cloud-based communication systems.
