We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to lead the administrative operations of a well-established school. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator to take on a leadership role within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the daily running of the school office, ensuring all administrative functions operate efficiently.
* Managing a team of administrative staff, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
* Acting as the main point of contact for staff, parents, and external agencies, ensuring excellent communication at all levels.
* Coordinating HR-related tasks, including staff absence tracking and recruitment administration.
* Ensuring compliance with school policies, safeguarding requirements, and GDPR regulations.
* Overseeing financial administration, including budget monitoring, procurement, and invoicing.
* Supporting the wider school community by assisting with events and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in office management, preferably within an educational setting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and school-specific software (e.g., SIMS or Arbor).
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* A solid understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a school environment.
