Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Parenting Support Worker to join our Parenting Team within the Family Hubs here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. You will be supporting parents and families of children 0-19 years.
This fast-paced role requires someone who is passionate and dynamic. There will be some requirement to deliver across all four Family Hubs and work alongside other colleagues in the Family Hubs and within Early Help to assist the facilitation of a universal/targeted rolling programme of workshops for families who require low level help and support with specific areas of parenting.
The role will include such activities as:
1. Building relationships with Parents prior to their attendance of the courses through regular telephone calls.
2. Delivery of accredited and non-accredited parenting programmes such as Family Nurturing, Talking Teens, Baby Massage and Yoga, Practical Parenting, Understanding Behaviour and Tots Talking.
3. Supporting with Let’s Talk one to one support sessions within the hubs.
4. One to one work with parents.
5. Tracking families' progress and their outcomes through follow up calls, pre and post evaluations.
6. Recording attendance of programmes.
7. Inputting data.
8. Evaluation of programmes.
9. Promotion of programmes.

This is a part time role of 25 hours per week and the actual salary for the role is £20,991 - £22,063.
