Purpose As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership for the strategic growth of the full Consumer Brands UK portfolio, further developing our cash and carry, wholesale and channel partner business. This position will be instrumental in growing our coverage in the marketplace. Key Responsibilities Suspect, prospect, activate, and ultimately win new routes to market via new wholesale, cash and carry opportunities, and develop business with our organic channel partners. Identify and convert cross selling opportunities with cash and carry, wholesale and channel partners through promotional calendar and sales of specific innovations. Self-generate sales leads in line with business growth objectives. Strategically identify new sectors/opportunities to sell into. Collaborate with internal department leads and their teams, to gain full operational support to deliver objectives on time and in full. Use and track opportunities via Salesforce. Create a growth funnel for defined key customers/segments and maintain in Salesforce. Build and maintain contact with key opinion leaders and convince them of ProFormula offering. Produce regular sales reports and pipeline activity reports via Salesforce. Key Requirements Proven track record of new business development (essential). Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills together with a persuasive communication style. A positive attitude with the ability to exceed client expectations. Intellectually strong with demonstrable problem-solving skills. High level IT and data analysis skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s).
