Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our innovative, dynamic and forward-thinking Perinatal Mental Health Service based in Leeds. We are now looking for a dynamic, innovative & passionate Clinical Team Manager to work within the Leeds Community Perinatal Mental Health Team.
The Leeds Community Perinatal Mental Health Team provides community support across the whole of Leeds for mothers suffering from moderate to severe mental illness in the perinatal period, to prevent further deterioration and admission to hospital. The service provides a range of care packages for women experiencing a mental illness in pregnancy and up to 2 years postnatally.
Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
As the Clinical Team Manager, you will provide leadership and management to a multi-disciplinary team. You will also play a key role in the service development and expansion, liaising with other key agencies within the perinatal pathway. You should have experience of line management within an MDT, alongside an interest in, and understanding of, Perinatal Mental Health services.
We offer a comprehensive induction package, and care co-ordinators have the opportunity to undertake specialist perinatal mental health training both internally and externally.
Qualifications
* Bsc/BA/Diploma or Masters in Mental Health Nursing/Occupational Therapy/Social Work and be registered with the relevant governing body.
Skills
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
* Effective Written communication skills
Experience
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of health equity and how this relates to service provision.
* Delivering quality supervision and line management experience
* Can demonstrate skills and experience in the management of conflict.
