Child Mentor Are you looking for a rewarding role within education? Do you have experience within Special Educational Needs? Would you like to support primary pupils on a 1:1 basis? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary SEN School that is based in the Haywards Heath area. The school are seeking for enthusiastic Child Mentors who can work on a 1:1 basis with their primary aged pupils. The pupils will have a range of needs including Autism, ADHD and Learning Difficulties. If you’re enthusiastic and able to motivate primary aged pupils, then this role is for you About the role: The chosen Child Mentor will be expected to build strong relationships their primary pupils. You will be supporting a pupil in class, in-between class and during school trips. You must be able to work alongside the pupils learning difficulties, as well as providing continuity for the pupils. About the school: The primary SEN school is a fantastic provision for primary aged pupils who have ASC and ADHD. The school have wonderful facilities and grounds that the pupils can use to express their feelings, including a forest for forest schooling and brilliant sensory rooms that can help de-escalate behaviour.
