An amazing opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record and strength in Aerospace Structures and Aerospace Forgings has arisen with a Global Aerospace and Precision Engineering company providing products into the Aerospace Engines and Aerospace Structures markets. As an experienced Sales Manager your primary focus will be selling into first tiers and OEM\'s. You will ideally have Sales Management experience within a first or second tier company in the Aerospace supply chain, with a strong and demonstrable record of success in new business win. This role requires you to have a strong knowledge of stainless steel, titanium and exotic metals. Our client offers a full engineering service from project management to the supply of machined finished and engine ready products. Essential Responsibilities of the Sales ManagerIdentification and maximisation of opportunities for business directly with OEM\'s, Risk Sharing Partners and Sub - Tier Supply Chain, focusing on new business growthCo - ordinate and support the negotiation of all types of contractual documents from confidentiality agreements to larger collaboration programmes and supply chain agreements Act as a focal point for internal and customer contractual queries on a day - to - day basis, responding promptly and in accordance with company policy and contracting arrangements Manage and update the Business Win Process Extensive Business Development and Key Account Management You will be responsible for managing commercial and contractual issues in order to maximise revenues and minimise the commercial risk of both new and existing contractsEssential Qualifications and Desired Characteristics of the Sales ManagerQualified in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering would prove highly beneficial or a business degree with significant exposure to technical sales of complex highly engineered solutionsGood level of commercial competency and acumen Experience of dealing and negotiating with suppliers and customers, with strong influencing and communication skills Based at site as required, but will be expected to travel within a multi - sited operation, including suppliers and customers sites Excellent written and oral communication skills in English - an additional major European language Spanish or French would be an advantageousThis is an URGENT requirement for our client and due to the nature of their business they are able to home working locations in the UK for the right candidate with regular attendance to the clients site which is located in the South West / South Wales region.
