Graduate Electronic Engineer required for a respected market leader in its sector.
We are seeking a motivated and focused electronic engineering graduate to join our dedicated team of development engineers. The main function of the role will be the design and development of electronic test applications for functional testing.
You will be involved in:
1. Testing of hardware and software.
2. Designing electronic test applications.
3. Programming testing using National Instruments such as LabView, Teststand, or Matlab.
4. Commissioning of Test Applications and project management.
5. Supporting customers for all technical queries.
ESSENTIAL:
You will require your own transport due to location.
Job Purpose: To gain experience and learn skills to be able to independently design and develop Automatic Test Equipment solutions to the highest quality. This will involve learning both hardware and software skills:
1. Design and develop electronic test applications for functional test equipment.
2. Solving a range of problems in test applications be they Mechanical, Electrical, or Pneumatic.
3. Assembly of Mechanical and Electrical assemblies, including soldering and crimping.
4. Executing hardware design tasks in accordance with the hardware development plan, whilst meeting agreed timescales.
5. Develop hardware product test specifications and procedures in-line with customer's requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
2. Knowledge of Instrumentation such as PXI, LXI, GPIB.
3. Test system architecture and electro-mechanical engineering.
4. Experience of hardware design.
5. Project Management.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Security clearance checks will be required. UK/EU Nationals only.
