CV-Library is on an exciting journey, combining cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches to recruitment advertising. We are looking for a dedicated Performance Director to lead our performance marketing efforts and drive our ambitious growth plans.
The Performance Director will develop and implement strategies to scale job seeker acquisition through all digital channels for the UK, Ireland, US, and further international markets. They will support the continued domestic and international growth of CV-Library and Resume Library and be responsible for helping shape our move to implementing a pay for performance business model.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the building and developing of a performance marketing strategy that will enable CV-Library and Resume Library to drive more traffic and job seekers to its platform and meet a 3-year business plan.
* Drive strategies across functions within the business to ensure a successful acquisition and retention strategy aimed at increasing not just volume, but quality and resulting revenue.
* Oversee programmatic traffic strategy feeding into a healthy P&L to meet a target margin within a CPA model.
* Build excellent relationships with wider stakeholders across the business, working closely with company leadership.
* Implement with confident data and methodology the measurement of multi-touch attribution with a testing programme for offline attribution.
* Work cross-functionally with other marketing departments (CRM, Comms), as well as outside the function (Product, Sales, Tech) to drive revenue and job seeker acquisition.
* Acting as an expert and leader in performance marketing, you will educate sales teams on commercial opportunities providing the highest revenue with surplus job seeker traffic.
* Explore wholesale partnerships with industry leaders to ensure we are driving CV downloads and therefore ROI.
* Implement and manage online programs that will enable the business to meet job seeker acquisition targets, sales, margin, and overall goal achievement.
* Develop objectives and metrics that support new growth initiatives.
* Build and execute robust, full funnel marketing campaigns in a highly competitive and complex business environment.
* Identify opportunities for automation to enable at-scale performance optimisation of paid channels.
* Support the development of new partnership pipelines to increase performance driven 3rd party acquisitions.
* Build tools to provide campaign visibility. Identify the required tools and tech stack for acquisition scalability.
* Manage the full P&L for performance marketing, including forecasting model alongside CRO and into CFO.
* Seek opportunities to enter new territories based on the ability to monetise traffic as well as design, manage, and implement ongoing performance multi-channel campaigns with measurable ROI targets.
* Manage, coach, and develop the teams to help foster a data-driven, best-practice led, high-performance culture.
* Keep abreast of trends, innovation, best practices, put them into operation, and help educate to determine realistic benchmarks and develop strategies to gain a competitive edge.
* Monitor competitors and keep pace with changing client behavior and macro-dynamics.
Requirements:
* Highly skilled in driving acquisition across marketing channels such as PPC, Display, Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, and Retargeting.
* Experience working with specific marketing tools and technology, including advanced analytics tools, CDPs, and CRM systems.
* Deep understanding of joining up supply and demand to produce high value pairings, and implementation of respective measurements.
* Highly analytical and comfortable making truly data-driven decisions to help drive significant growth.
* Proficient in A/B testing, biddable media, and marketing program optimization.
* Proficient in SEO principles and growth strategies.
* Proven and successful experience building and executing direct and performance marketing campaigns for a business in a highly competitive and complex environment.
* Experience managing a cross-functional team as both a player and a leader, being able to perform tasks and manage others to the successful completion of a project.
* Effective communication/presentation skills and the ability to translate complex observations into insights.
* Proven track record of effective budget planning and management.
* Highly analytical, and data driven. A suitable candidate for the position will demonstrate a keen understanding and appreciation of research and analysis and the well-informed insights that emanate from it. They will be highly proficient in A/B testing, biddable media, and marketing program optimization.
* Able to track and report on key metrics that measure performance in programs and campaigns inclusive of traffic, revenue, conversions, and ROI.
