The Role: We are delighted to partner with Anglian Water and we are looking for a Senior Cost Manager. You will oversee commercial management for a key program in the Repair and Developer Services Alliance. Managing a small team, you’ll work to deliver commercial efficiency, ensure compliance with governance and statutory regulations, and support financial risk management across the alliance. Here are some of the activities you will be involved with… Ensure all costs are captured and allocated correctly. Use efficient processes to identify, report, and manage commercial risks. Work with the Performance Reporting & Systems team for accurate and timely commercial reports. Report commercial and contractual performance to stakeholders. Anticipate sub-contracting needs and establish robust sub-contracts. Share best practices for continuous improvement. Set and track key commercial performance metrics. Collaborate with the Finance team to manage and report cash flow impacts. Implement systems to monitor commercial and financial risks. Identify cost reduction opportunities and support stakeholders in achieving them. Maintain accurate expenditure plans in Anglian Water’s systems. Conduct cost audits to ensure compliance and find efficiency opportunities. You will excel in contract administration, compliance, and identifying cost-saving opportunities, while demonstrating excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
