Part Time Teacher - Secondary Schools - Wiltshire
Protocol Education are working with schools throughout Chippenham, Rowde, Devizes, Trowbridge and the surrounding areas to appoint committed Cover Supervisors/Flexi-Teachers/Teachers to become a vital part of their teaching staff on a part time/cover basis.
Hours: 08.30 - 15.30
There is FREE TRAINING provided for this role.
The Role:
1. As a flexi-cover/part time teacher, you will work across all year groups as and when needed, covering lessons due to staff absence or supporting certain classes and class teachers in learning.
2. Carry out work pre-set by class teacher to a high standard.
3. Manage the behaviour of pupils while they undertake their work and ensure a constructive and positive environment is always enforced.
4. De-escalate situations within the classroom in the correct way, certifying safeguarding procedures are always adhered to.
5. Collect work at the end of the lesson and return it to the appropriate recipient.
6. Report any safeguarding concerns using the school’s referral procedures and safeguarding policies.

1. Qualified Teacher Status is preferred; however, candidates with good, relevant experience will be considered.
